I want to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas/Holiday/Winter Solstice/Winter Season! So does Rin ;)

If you want to see the full version of this image, it was actually created for the ComicFury Crossover Exchange, which has been posting today!

I also want to take this time to once again thank you all so much for your moral support. If you're a silent reader, if you comment, or if you offer suggestions: just reading Dark Horse means so much to me. You all help me want to be better, want to improve. Thank you so much! I don't think I can put to words how much it means to me. Thank you!

Be safe, have fun, and take care of yourselves and your loved ones! Happy Christmas, and Merry New Year!

And also thanks for being patient while I prepped for Con+Alt+Delete! Here's a photo from the convention:

That is THE Shinichiro Watanabe!!! Cowboy Bebop, Macross, Samurai Champloo, Space Dandy, and of course the new Carole and Tuesday! I love that he never removed his sunglasses, even for the panels XD He also knows who Wilco is!!! They're a local Chicago band who have received modest notoriety nationwide :3 Super cool!

Awesome photos! That must have been so much fun!

Thanks! It really was.

I was at the booth most of the trip, but my partner's brother came to help and relieved me for meals and for one of the panels with Watanabe. He also recorded some of the panel he went to, so I'm going to work on a video with a bit of that. I am excited to see the footage, since he hasn't share it with me yet :D

Happy Holidays!
She has very Gundam or 70-80s sci-fi anime looking winter clothes, haha :D
Also, snowmen are still cool! To grow up from doing something means to tell yourself not to do so anymore. Nothing else :>

I guess I do not have to mention Cowboy Bebop and Macross but if you have not seen Samurai Champloo then I highly recommend it. Bro rewatched it with his GF recently because he liked it a lot as well. I found out that many non anime fans liked it as well. It is hilarious :D
As for Space Dandy, I have not seen it. Friend says I would like it so maybe I should check it out :>

Oh man! I 100% agree with you on Champloo. I have the whole series and need to re-watch it (it's one of the DVDs I'm not giving up. We're downsizing, but some things I'm not ready to part with XD)

Ha ha! Yes! You got it! Rin's pose is a pun on Family Vacation, but even that cover is a pun on epic sci-fi covers. The art was done by Boris Vallejo (one of my favorites growing up! I loved his book covers!)

The Dragon and the George was one of my absolute favorite books growing up, and he did the art for the original cover which Mom had and let me take :D

(None of this is important, I just wanted to share it XD I used to try to remember artist's style, especially in college when the Unglued Magic set came out XD)

Cool! I am not familiar with those but they definitely look like products of that time! Quite awesome :D
A lot of that style was borrowed for covers of games as well, like Double Dragon.

Double DRAGON! That game was hard for me XD We played it just a few months ago at this locally owned adult arcade/brewery, Two Plumbers. It is most excellent place to hang out XD
