It is always nice when whatever mysterious entities decide it is suddenly all your business with sweet words like saving the world and surely that is what you would love to do, lmao :D
Basically sweeping the crap they made in the past ;)

But there is something nice about a manga hero saying OF COURSE!! since I think most people would not and therefore they seem so OP :D
Not here though... hm.

LOL, they certainly left a huge mess for someone to clean up millennia later. I mean, sure, you kept things okay for a loooooong time, but it's almost like some Gods/gods acting like people. Starting a project, getting super involved in it, then slowly your interest wanes and you eventually abandon the project all together. It's kind of an interesting concept, if God fashioned us after him/herself. Of course, then you get into "man fell" and all that if you're talking about the Christian God.

But there are a lot of other gods, and seeing how much like humans their actions are. I think I just got off topic, but I love to study past and present mythologies/religions/whatever one should call something to not insult present peoples. I really loved Greek mythology and Norse mythology growing up, then Celtic and eventually reading up on Hinduism, Buddhism, and Shintoism. There's so many cultures to study and so much you can learn just by looking at a culture's art and then looking at the religion :)

As for Rin, she's been having odd dreams and as air-headed as she is, she does tend to follow her feelings more than her brain--this will get her into trouble, you can bet on it :)

Kanna's more of the "think first," which is funny because she's also more devout with her religion and doesn't think on it or question it (at least, not early on. Later in this act, I have her coming back from Catechism, so her religion is going to be stated, as opposed to Rin, who's just denominational Christian and doesn't go to church except on holidays.) So, Rin's more likely to act first, think later, while Kanna takes maybe too long to make a decision (a lot like Hamlet, which she apparently never read.) I think that's why they are friends, though, since they're so different.

I just got done spending hours I'm kinda chatty right now :)

As for me, I am not really heavy on mythologies of any culture unless it is a fictional one. Completely made up gods and so on. Since there the rules tend to be different and the gods actually exist and interact.

However, I like mythological creatures so you can say a mix of many mythologies just that I do not prefer or am interested in any one in particular.
I guess one reason why I like Castlevania because the games just throw in various mythical beings, creatures and so on without context but it is really cool :D

I see. I did not know their religion is such an important aspect. I guess they will have to challenge a lot then since powerful beings are usually often associated with black magic and all kinds of HERESIES *BLAM* so maybe they should have left that part of themselves at home...

Oh, the Castlevania games are a lot of fun! They do sneak a lot of different mythological creatures into, too :)

Yeah, the religion thing is going to effect Kanna most. It's actually part of why she's so unstable during her early reign. Her weakness, her lack of belief in herself, is why she's let her guard down and gets possessed. When I revamp Act 2, I'm going to make that more evident. I did a very poor job of that...besides the quality of the drawing o_O
