Changes: instead of using photographs and filters, I actually traced some of the outline, but most of the details I had to guess due to the low contrast of the images. I changed some details, but I want this to look like a temple in India, because that will be important later in the story.

Some of it I free styled, since I've to a lot more control over my pen and ink than I used to. I also added my ink textures, and the silhouette of the banyan tree at the end of the hall (though, it's hard to tell).

I am hoping since I did a lot of this without rulers, that it integrates into my style and looks more natural than when I had just plopped photos in here o_O

Done! A little late, but could be worse :D

Wow! That hallway! :O
Any comments? Is that edited from somewhere? Look really cool!
BlueDragon edit delete reply 4th Oct 2015, 12:55 PM
Thanks so much!

Yes, I found a temple hallway online and tried to make it unrecognizable from the original. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, since the original may be part of someone's religion, but for the sake of time, I couldn't draw a hall (too lazy :P).

I use Photoshop (an old version) so I made it color pencil and then did a surface blur on it (I also had to take a person out of it! No law suits here!!!)

I am glad to see it's working out okay!

I totally get that :D
That would take a lot of time considering you only need it shown here in one small panel.

One person here once told me: "Copying from one person's work is plagiarism; copying from many is 'research'."
Copy away!
Do not listen to me... Just saying <_<

I actually really like random background shots without any people or action. Like the country landscape. Very cool :D

Usually if it's not littered with copyright info, I don't worry too much about the photographs I use for backgrounds. You'll find most photos have been reposted so many times, their origin has been lost.

That's good to know! Thank you!

OMG! Have you started posting again? I love your comics!

Aw thanks ^_^
I haven't gotten back around to pita yet, still chipping away at a creativity block there, but I'm doing more with the world outside of time omnibus and my final fantasy character blog :D

Oooo! I will check out your page this weekend! :)

I do love Pita, though :D Good luck busting through the block. That's soooo hard!

I can imagine being in awe walking around in such a grand hall! I am in love with ancient architecture 😊

Me, too! It's been a dream of mine to actually travel to India, Japan, and South America to see some of the amazing art/architecture.

So humbling, so amazing!
