The comments from before 2021 reference a different version of this scene, where Yulie does more with the teleport crystal. I decided this was a bit superfluous to the story, and so it's been omitted. Sorry so many of the comments don't match up D:

When I started the dialog on the page...I suddenly realized how many innuendos I had discussing the "magic ball." So although later on we're going to get into the S-V-L-N (some language already,) I thought it best to avoid that type of silliness...unless it's Oisin making the comments >:D

Single use teleport crystal?
That is not very convenient considering you also might want to get back :D
One-way ticket!

Yeah, it's not very useful :P In Act 15, I think it is, I get into more detail about how and why the magic worked like. I know, that's sooooo far away, but I get there!

Suffice to say, it's the best a novice could do :D

Wonder how long it takes to gather up magic like that. Just sit back and let the magic ball gather it up over the course of years?

In this instance, the globe was a container for a single haven't really thought about how long it would take.

Probably not an immense amount of time, if one knows what they are doing. There's magic in everything...some free floating, some specifically in things.

I don't really go into the magic system much in the story, but I do talk about it a lot in a video series I did XD (someone else was asking for details, and I like to babble, so it was a great opportunity for me to expound XD)

I don't want to flesh out the magic *too* much, though, for fear of, well, taking the magic out of the magic XD

I mean, there will always be time to kill her later. I don’t think it’s such a bad idea to at least try to do something that won’t lead to death.
