So sorry this was posted after 6:00p! I have been out of town, sick, and busy with making presents and just over loaded for Christmas! But I finally got this done! I tried very hard to make it look like Rensha was making a barrier. I think it will be more evident next page. I am still going to fix the page where they come out of no where, but that will have to wait until after Christmas o_O

Fight scene coming up! *o* So excited!

Just a head's up: there may not be an update next week. I will be out of town again, and I won't have the materials needed to update. I will try as hard as I can, but I still have to draw the up coming pages, in addition to inking and toning :( We shall see what I can get done.

At this point it is hopefully a reality barrier to prevent outsiders seeing anything. Which reminds me Odysseus was casually carried out in the public. Ah well :D
This is before all crap happens so that is why I am saying it.
Actually... They were already strolling about with wings so it seems to me creatures care nothing for public appearances and what humans might think.
I guess I need to know how aware people are and how considerate anyone else it with this sort of issue.

You got it! It's a barrier :)

Yeah, I tried to make a joke of them carrying him around...and people just taking their word for it he wasn't a dragon XD I remember drawing that page...it was fun :3

Barriers are handy. So much destruction would happen without the barriers in CLAMP'S "X" :) (I think it was "X"...I know it was CLAMP. it's been like...at least a decade since I read the first omnibus and watched some of the anime.)

Have I mentioned I like CLAMP? Because...yeah...they were the next mangkas I read after Naoko Takeuchi *o*

Ah! I was more asking if the barrier is like a reality changing one and any passerby just sees a park with nobody in it. Or if they are really publicly duking it out with magic and stuff but inside a protective barrier :D

Yup! I think you said you have not seen/read Magic Knight Rayearth and that is about what I am familiar with more and I quite liked the anime. Apparently the manga is different for MKR 2.
One friend recommended Cardcaptor Sakura to me but I have not gotten to it just yet, haha.

Oh, okay :D

More on the barrier: This one, as will be addressed soon, keeps anyone outside from seeing what's going on. It's not powerful enough to keep people out, but it prevents anyone outside from seeing or hearing what's going on (so there will be no witnesses.) When Kanna arrives, she's going to make a statement about it.

I suppose it also prevents structural damage (they know enough about time travel to at least try to leave things in tact. When they entered the story before, it was after park closure and no one was around except...everyone from the future (sans Kanna & Rhina,) so they were less concerned with hiding their presence. Just an FYI there :)

Oh, I've seen and read Ray Earth, it's just been a long time ago. I finally had to sell off my manga this year to prepare for the move :*( It was soooo hard!

They aren't in the busiest neighborhood. Mia's parents are rich, and at this time of day most people are at work (or just aren't home,) so the streets aren't very busy. But it is a precaution Rensha wants to take since it's day time, they're in a neighborhood, and they know they shouldn't really be seen.

Ooff, I really should think about re-working Act 4 a bit...I realize Shimiko should know better than to just teleport onto the bus. I mean, no one (probably) saw her reappear, since Kanna, Rin, and Od. are at the back (to keep him hidden, that's why I had them choose the back of the bus,) but that's a major plot hole I will have to fix before printing XD Which is why I love these conversations :3

Side note: I've seen and read Ray Earth, but it's been a long time (and I just had to give away my manga :*( I will probably get them again after the move sometime. We just really needed to downsize and I needed the money for our savings.) Umi was my favorite :3 Probably cause she's all in blue and water's my favorite elemental XD

I haven't seen Card Captor Sakura. I probably should at sometime o.O

Haha, nice then!
It is your rules after all but I am usually curious how the world reacts to such open weird things and how hidden they are. That is why a reality changing barrier was my first thought. And even if the site is wrecked after the battle they can leave and everything else is up to authorities to judge.
I am a big fan of Fate Stay Night and related universes but this is often handled there in a weird way. Either do it or act like it is not necessary. In FSN most attempts seem weak even if a whole neighborhood explodes. And it also not played for comedy.
Ultimately it is a curiosity of mine and especially manga hardly cares about this. Which is okay most of the time. In your case the world is going to get it soon enough anyway for anything magical to remain hidden for much longer :D

Umi was the best girl. No questions about it. LMAO :D
I agree. I also liked her design the most. She was the only one who was at least a bit: "What is this crap!?" when they arrived plus in the anime her first thought was like: "Where is the nearest McD?"
I am not familiat with the manga though. I know MKR is somewhat different while MKR 2 is largely different.
